It depends on the size and number of windows, the film and the access. Rather than guess a figure that turns out to be wrong for your place, Dany comes out, measures every opening and gives you the price on the spot. Flat glass starts at $299+ and car tinting at $300+. No. Dark is a look, not a requirement. There are near-clear films that cut heat and UV while leaving the window looking much as it does now, which is usually what people want on a street-facing room they don't want to change the character of. Dany will talk you through which film suits the glass you already have and what it will realistically do.
A single window averages about twenty minutes, with larger or unusual shapes taking thirty to thirty-five minutes. A full home of ten to fifteen windows typically takes four to six hours, so most residential jobs are completed in a single day. Film also needs a short curing period afterwards, during which a little haze or the odd water pocket is normal and clears on its own.
